How are we paid?
We may be compensated in one or more ways. We are paid fees for financial plans to provide written recommendations to help you reach your goals. We may receive commissions from insurance companies when insurance products are provided, and may collect management fees for assets under management.
Transactional Work:
No fees are charged in situations where you only need help establishing an account, such as with a retirement account rollover, or the purchase of a life insurance policy. This requires little additional time on our part, and little analysis of your situation. We are compensated by commissions on insurance products, or ongoing management fees inside investment accounts. All costs are disclosed in advance.
Fee Based Planning:
Appropriate in situations where you need help analyzing your current situation to determine the best course of action to help you reach your goals. Fees are commensurate with the expected complexity and time involved. The planning process provides clear, written recommendations to guide you each step of the way. We provide planning and ongoing support in three main areas:
- Personal Financial Planning; includes Cash Management, Income Tax, Investment Selection, Accumulation Goals, Financial Independence, Risk Management, College Funding, Estate Distribution, and Business Interests.
- Business Financial Planning; includes Financial Ratios, Business Valuation, Recruit/Retain Employees, Key Employee Compensation, Employee Benefits, and Exit Strategies for Owners.
- Wealth Management; includes Investment Selection, Risk Tolerance Evaluation, Investment Taxation, Cash Management, Monitor/Report on Investments, and Estate Distribution.
